After college, she interned with three different organizations where she worked as a meteorologist and weather reporter. These three organizations include WGCL CBS Atlanta, WUSA CBS 9 in Washington D.C., and The Weather Channel.
After her internship, she started her broadcasting journey as a weekend meteorologist in Savannah, GA. She worked for some months and left there for Cleveland OH, where she assumed the role of a Meteorologist on Good Morning Cleveland.
During her time in Cleveland (One year and six months), she received an EMMY Award for her morning weather report, which covered a tragic plane crash in Akron, Ohio.
She left Cleveland in October 2016 and joined the NBC StormTeam 4 (WRC Washington TV), where she worked as a weather forecaster and reporter. She worked for 6 years here before finally securing her current job.
