It's time for themen's 400m hurdles final, and the big match-up: world record holder and defending championKarsten Warholm against his big rivals, Brazil'sAlison dos Santos and USA'sRai Benjamin.

Hockey: Netherlands win women's gold in shoot-out
Just like the bronze medal game earlier today, this gold final has gone to a shoot-out after that late Dutch equaliser in regulation time.
BothPien Sanders andMaria Verschoor convert on their attempts for Netherlands – while the Chinese miss their first two.
But then the Dutch aren't able to convert their third, running out of time on the clock!
Zhong Jiaqi gets one back for her team but the Dutch restore their two-goal advantage asMarijn Veen scores off the left goalpost!
That meansMa Ning has to score – but it's saved!

Athletics: Jordan Alejandro Díaz wins men's triple jump gold
We're down to the top three in themen's triple jump – the medallists are known, but what order will they finish in?
Italy'sAndy Díaz is up first. He's sitting on 17.63m – a slight improvement to 17.64m but that is bronze for the Italian.
Pedro Pichardo, the Portuguese defending Olympic champion, is up next. He gets the crowd going with rhythmic claps then takes off with abig leap. He needs to improve on 17.84 … it's 17.81m and isn't enough to move him up!
So the champion is Spain'sJordan Alejandro Díaz, who goes over to hug his coach in celebration. Díaz isn't going to take his final jump. 17.86m wins gold for him.

The rain is torrential for a moment, then lets up a little. It could make a big difference on the changeovers though.
Off they go from the off and Great Britain are off to a fantastic start, having caught Switzerland on the stagger before the first changeover.
It's still the Brits doing into the second and third changeovers but Germany are in the lead briefly and here come the United States!
On the line it's close! Have the USA overtaken Great Britain? They have!
USA win gold in 41.78, a season's best. Great Britain silver in 41.85. AndGermany bronze in 41.97.
Now over to the referees to review the tape for possible disqualifications. And the result is confirmed, with Great Britain picking up a warning for a lane infringement and Switzerland disqualified for a changeover outside the zone.
